In order to promote the fitness undertaking for national people and allow more city residents to experience the international first-class sports facilities in holidays after the 12^th National Sports Meet, Dalian Sports Center was open to the city residents at 9:30-16:30 on Oct. 1-7, 2013, the reservation time was 8:30-17:30. The stadiums and gyms meeting the conditions for experiencing by the city residents in the Sports Center consisted of 4 football fields, 14 outdoor tennis courts and 1 baseball field with dressing rooms and bathrooms equipped. The city residents could make reservations by phone, the time unit was in 1 hour. As more city residents made reservations during holidays, the Sports Center reserved 6,000 free parking spaces. After opening this time, the Sports Center will be open without charge to the city residents on irregular basis.
