Supplementary Notice on National Softball Championship for Teenagers and Children for 2014
All entrant units:
The National Software Championship for Teenagers and Children for 2014 will be held in Dalian, Liaoning Province. In order to ensure the contest to be held successfully and provide good services to all entrant units, the following supplementary notice on related matters is given under approval of the Sports Management Center for Handball, Hockey Ball, Baseball and Softball affiliated to the National Sports Bureau General:
I. Contest time, location
Contest time: From Jul. 31, 2014 to Aug. 5
Location of contest: Liaoning Dalian Sport Center (Address: No. 699, Lanling Road, Ganjingzi District, Dalian)
II. Enter name for contest
1. Here is a list of units entering their name for the contest for the first time:
Sports school group for teenagers: Wuxi Xishan District Sports School, Jiangsu Nanjing Shangyuan Middle School, Shanghai Sports School, School affiliated to Dalian Xigang District Education Training School, Lanzhou Sports School, Conghua Amateur Sports School for Teenagers.
General school group for teenagers: Jiangsu Nanjing Jiangning Senior Middle School, Shanghai Minhang No. 4 Middle School, Panjin Liaohe Oilfield Bohai No. 1 Middle School, Shanghai No. 3 Middle School for Girls, Middle School affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology, Middle School affiliated to North Jiaotong University, Wuxi Dongbeitang Middle School, Hebi Middle School.
Children sports school group: Zhenzhou Jinshui District Sports Federation, Shanghai Pudong New District Youyou Primary School, Shanghai Pudong New District No. 2 Sports School for Teenagers.
General school group for children: Panjin Liaohe Oilfield Bohai No. 1 Middle School, Shenzhen Team, Middle School affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology.
2. The above units are requested to fax the table for entering names for the second time (can be downloaded from the official web) to China Software Association (fax number: 010-67162167) and send the electronic version to the email box of the association (csa@sport.org.cn) on Jun. 30, 2014.
III. Checking in
1. The technical representative, chief referee, chief recorder and arbitration members are requested to check in on Jul. 28 and the referees and all entrant unitss are requested to check in on Jul. 29.

2. The entrant unitss and technical official are requested to fax before Jul. 22 the information on their trip to Dalian to the contest office (fax number: 0411-83682259) so that the organization committee can arrange pickup, board and lodging, etc. Person responsible for pickup: Chu Weizeng, Contact telephone: 13704110897.
If the entrant units would like to go to the check-in locations themselves, here are bus routes:
From Dalian Airport to Dalian Polytechnic University: can take bus or express bus from Lugang Logistics to Xinxing Green City.
From Dalian Railway Station to Dalian Polytechnic University: can take No. 414 bus (20 stops).
From Dalian North Railway Station to Dalian Polytechnic University: can take No. 909 express bus (square in the south of station) or No. 1 bus to Liuyuan and change to take No. 612 bus.
3. When checking in, one must hand valid ID card (ID card of generation II or original household register) for checking and personal accident injury insurance coverage certificate.
4. The entrant units, technical officials are requested to check in, depart on time. Any who arrives ahead of schedule, depart with extension of time will not be received by the organization committee.
IV. Funds
1. The expenses for to and fro transportation, board and lodging, medical service, insurance, etc. shall be borne by the entrant units themselves.
2. Considering safety factors and unified management facilitation, the entrant people must check in the student dormitories in Dalian Polytechnic University as designated by the organization committee (boys and girls will stay in different buildings). Otherwise no entry in the contest is allowed. The cost for board and lodging and transportation is RMB 100 yuan per person per day. The cost for redundant people is RMB 150 yuan per person per day.
3. The entrant units will pay all expenses in lump sum when checking in, no payment by swinging card will be allowed; a team without any accompanying referee has to pay RMB 500 yuan as referee fee; no formalities for withdrawal will be provided for earlier departure.
4. If the entrant units need a pickup service, please inform the organization committee 7 days in advance and the charge for each team is RMB 1,000 yuan.
V. Other matters
As the contest falls in the peak season of tourism, the organization committee will not provide the service to book return tickets, which should be bought by the entrant units themselves in advance.
