Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park
Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park is located in the central part of the southern seaside in Dalian, a national class scenic spot. It covers an area of 1.18 million sq. m., and has 4,000 plus meters sinuous coastlines. In the park, the blue sky and sea, the green hills and bizarre rocks are happy and harmonious to form a picturesque seaside sight. It was appraised by the National Tourism Bureau among the first group as class AAAAA scenic spot. As a renowned Chinese tourist brand, it has passed ISO9001 quality management system and ISO14001 environmental management system certification. The Tiger Beach Ocean Park is a modernized theme ocean park demonstrating ocean culture, highlighting the characteristics of the seaside city and integrating sightseeing, amusement, scientific popularization, shopping and culture.
The Ocean Polar Animal Museum of Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park is a museum that is the largest in floor space, the most in water storage and displays the most complete polar animals in the world. The park covers an area of 1.18 million sq. m. and has 4,000 plus meters sinuous coastlines. In the park, the blue sky and sea, the green hills and bizarre rocks are happy and harmonious to form a picturesque seaside sight.
The scenic spots in the park are unique and the facilities are perfect and complete. There is a Coral Museum that is the largest in Asia and mainly exhibits coral reef bio-groups; a Polar Museum that is the largest in the world, the exclusive in China and exhibits ocean animals and serves the purpose of polar experiencing; Bird Forest (Figure 2), an artificial, semi-natural bird cage in the Tiger Beach that is the largest in the county; tiger sculptures which are the largest granite animal stone sculptures in the country and Ma Siji’s Root Sculpture Art Museum where sculptures created by making use of discarded things are exhibited, which are tourist scenic spots well-known over the country; there is also a large-scale aerial cableway across the sea, which is the largest in the country; the largest tourist and sightseeing boat in the southern sea area in Dalian and such play facilities as thrilling and stimulating Jurassic riptide adventure, piratical boat, bungee, prompt drop, etc.

Departure from bus station:
From Beigang Bridge Stop, you can take No. 1 bus to Qingniwa Bridge where you change to No. 2 bus to get off at Tiger Beach Station;
The bus stop is around 7km away from Tiger Beach. It costs around RMB 16 yuan by taxi.
Departure from the airport:
The airport is around 15km from Tiger Beach. It costs around RMB 40 yuan by taxi.
Departure from harbor:
It costs around RMB 18 yuan by taxi.
Departure from the Railway Station:
From Dalian Railway Station, you can take No. 7 bus to Sanba Square where you change to No. 402 to get off at Tiger Beach Station;
The Railway Station is around 6km from Tiger Beach and it costs about RMB 14 yuan by taxi.
Driving route:
Shen-Da Expressway: Huoyan Exit—Flyover (in the direction entering Dalian City)—Dongbei Road (driving southward on Xianglujiao Overhead Flyover)—Wuyi Square (Radio and Television Center is a symbolic building)—Dongbei Bridge (driving southward)—Baiyun Tunnel—Shidao Street—Xinqitun—Bayi Road—Taoyuan Street—Jiefang Road (driving eastward)—Tiger Beach Ocean Park. In non-peak period: it takes 40-50 minutes to arrive.
