——The Sports Center ushered in “Public Welfare Football Match of FENG Xiaoting and His Friends”

       On Nov. 27, FENG Xiaoting, the captain of National Football Team and the back of Evergrande Football Team, will return to Dalian and hold “Public Welfare Football Match of FENG Xiaoting and His Friends” at the Dalian Sports Center Gymnasium to express gratitude to the hometown and his alma mater.

       On Nov. 13, FENG Xiaoting wrote a “A Letter to My Alma Mater” on the MicroBlog, in the first  sentence of the letter he wrote: “Hello, everyone. I’m FENG Xiaoting, a student of Dalian Northeast Road Primary School of 1992”. In the letter, he recalled how difficult it was to play football. With regard to this Public Welfare Football Match, FENG Xiaoting said he decided to bring the event back after he left his hometown, Dalian, for a decade. “I’d like to contribute my best for the students of Northeast Road Primary School and the football teenagers of Dalian.” At the end of the letter, he wrote: “It is a great honor to leave a mark in two major football cities, Dalian and Guangzhou.” And he said that as a veteran, he will stand the last shift of his career in the last few years, “to make more contribution for the future of Chinese football.”

       This Public Welfare Football Match was due to a video that Xinjiang football teenagers pursue football dream on the barren land in 2016. FENG Xiaoting was moved by the video and with the help of all the friends, he opened the prologue of his football public welfare, and he also took a name for the project - Assist the Future. “Public Welfare Football Match of FENG Xiaoting and His Friends” has contributed a loving force to the football teenagers in Xinjiang in the western region of China and Guangdong in the southern coastal region. The match was held in Guangzhou for two years, this time, FENG Xiaoting decided to bring the competition back to his hometown, Dalian.

       It is reported that the two teams of this Public Welfare Football Match contains many sports stars, one of the two teams is the representative team of Northeast Road Primary School, which is the alma mater of FENG Xiaoting, and the other team is other Dalian sports stars other than the Northeast Road Primary School. It is worth mentioning that the field will also set interactive game, lucky draw, signing ceremony and singing. Sports stars of National Football Team, entertainment stars and students of Northeast Road Primary School will enjoy the joy of the football. The match will also bring vision and expectation of the future for teenagers who have football dream.

       In this winter that Dalian football get warm again, FENG Xiaoting and his friends will return to the beginning of the dream, return to the school and visit to the teachers, relive the football dream of the past, stay true to the mission, and continue to spread public welfare, football and love.
