China’s Women's National Football Team Will Prepare for  in the Sports Center

       The 18th Asian Games will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 18 to September 2. In order to prepare for this Asian Games, China’s Women’s National Football Team will perform intensified training in Dalian Sports Center from July 30 to August 11, and participate in Asian Games on August 12.

       On the name list of 25 female players for the intensified training released by Chinese Football Association, three from Dalian Quanjian Women’s Football Team are included. It is not hard to see that this team is a combination of veteran, middle-aged, and young players. Judging from the experience, 9 among the 25 selected players have experience of more than 80 international matches; seeing from the age structure, there are not only ‘veterans’born in and before 1990 but also the core force of young players born in 1992 and 1993. There are also 7 ‘95’s’. Since the allowed number of players for the Asian Games is 20, there will be fierce competition within the team.

       It is learned that there will be 11 teams for women’s football competition of this Asian Games, which will be classified into Group A, Group B and Group C. China’s Women’s National Football Team will be divided into Group B with Women’s National Football Team of Hong Kong, China and Tajikistan Women’s National Football Team. According to the schedule, the women’s football matches will be held from August 16 to August 31.

       It is the forth national football team coming to Dalian Sports Center for base training, which is followed by Chinese Men’s National Football Team, Chinese Women’s National Futstal Team, and CFA Men’s U21 Football Selection Team. With considerate dining, accommodation and facility services, the Sports Center will do its part in successful conclusion of the intensified training for China’s Women’s National Football Team.
