Youth Tennis Elites of Liaoning Province Gather in the Sports Center to Compete for the Championship

——Tennis Matches of the 13th Provincial Games Are Now in Full Swing

       Since the Sports Center held ‘Dalian Sports Center Cup’ Youth Tennis U14 Tournament in June of this year, recently, it will hold another provincial-level youth tennis competition. From July 19 to July 27, sponsored by Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau, undertaken by Sports Management Center of Table Tennis and Badminton of Liaoning Province and Dalian Sports Bureau, and co-organized by Dalian Sports Center and Dalian International Tennis Center, tennis matches (teenager group) of the 13th Liaoning Provincial Games are now being held in the Sports Center.

       It is learned that 158 youth tennis players from 11 cities of Liaoning Province have participated in this competition. It is set up with two categories of Group A and Group B. Players who were born from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2003 have been classified into Group A, and those who were born after January 1, 2004 were classified into Group B. Team events and individual events like men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, etc., have been set up for each group. Currently, the competition is now being well underway. In this hot summer, youth players shed sweat and work hard for the sport they love. Though it is youth competition, its live atmosphere is not inferior to that of professional competition. Amazing rounds and tough matches lasting for more than two hours have appeared continuously. Youth tennis players are now pushing ahead for the championship of each event.

       The Sports Center has provided 8 training courts and two courts for semi-finals and finals of this competition. Youth players can experience international top-notch stadiums and guarantee services. During the competition, all the players, team leaders and coaches will stay in the athletes’ apartments, and dine in the athletes’ dining halls. The Sports Center will be fully committed to providing quality competition courts, logistics services and guarantee.
