The 26th World Memory Championships China Finals will be started in the Comprehensive Stadium of Dalian Sports Center from November 16 to November 19. 600 high IQ geniuses fromBeijing, Shanghai,Guangdong, Liaoning,Sichuan, Zhejiang,Shandong, etc., will get together and compete in a smokeless high-level battle of brains lasting for three days. The highlight of this World Memory Championships will be the confrontation among extraordinary participants.

       The World Memory Championships was launched by Tony Buzan, Father of the Memory of the World, in 1991, which is the world's highest level memory event organized by WMSC, and the world’s mental sports event of the highest memory technique. It is honored as ‘The Olympics’ of the Brain and has been held for 26 times. Contents of the World Memory Championships include such 10 disciplines as names and faces, binary digits, random digits, abstract images, fast numbers, virtual events and dates, random cards, random words, spoken numbers, and speed cards. It is conducted in such three age groups as children group, junior group and adult group, and it examines comprehensively the memory, attention, observation, imagination and creativity of the participants, and challenges the limitations of human brains.

       It is learned that memory masters will emerge in each World Memory Championships, who are active in brain reality shows like Super Brain. The Championships has become the cradle for Super Brain. In October of this year, Dalian Contest of World Memory Championships China Finals just concluded, where Participants got together to compete for seats to participate in the world finals on behalf of China.

       The World Memory Championships is different from other amateur events. Participants need to be fully focused in the competition, without any interference. Therefore, there are high requirements towards the closeness and confidentiality of the competition environment. In order to build the optimum experience for each participant to give full play to their true levels, after a systematic consideration, the event organizer chose the Comprehensive Stadium of the Sports Center. The selection and layout of the competition site reflect the professionalization of the event organization, for the purpose of fully satisfying requirements of most participants.
