The Final of Dalian Sports Center · Tebon Securites Amateur Tennis Competition is to kick off from August 26 to August 27. Since held in May of this year, this competition has drawn great attention from citizens, and attracted more than 200 tennis fans to sign up. It provides an opportunity for amateur tennis players of all ages to compete and exchange with each other and preheat for the upcoming ‘Dalian Tennis Open’.

       This Final will recruit 64 players for singles and 32 groups for doubles from the whole city. Any domestic and foreign amateur players who love tennis and age from 16 to 65 can sign up for this competition. Seen from the previous registration situations, since there are players from wide age groups and across wide age span, in singles for this final, participants aged 18-45 will be classified into Group A, and those who age 46-55 will be classified into Group B. Each one of the top eight will receive a Certificate of Participation, the champion and runner-up will get trophies and prize money of different amount, and players who rank the third to eighth will get tennis experience cards and souvenirs. Besides, all the participants will further get tickets for the final day of ‘Dalian Tennis Open’.        Many amateur tennis competitions have been sponsored and hosted by Dalian Sports Center this year, e.g. tennis competitions targeting at teenagers, dual meet between clubs, point race for citizens. Such competitions are featured by diversity and cover all ages. They provide the competition opportunity and establish the communication platform for amateur tennis players, and push forward the development of tennis sport in Dalian.
