The Sports Center Endeavors to Create Summer Training Base in the North 

       Boasting about beautiful environment, pleasant climate and profound sports deposits, Dalian has sound natural conditions for sports trainings in summer. Since the Sports Center was put into use, the number of teams and individuals for base trainings it accommodated has increased with years, thereby becoming an influential summer training base in the Northeast. According to the statistics, in the first half of the year, the Sports Center has accommodated 33 teams and 47,200 people for base trainings, seeing a increase of 90% compare with the same period of the previous year.

       The athletes training base in the Sports Center can not only provides fully-equipped outdoor training sites but also excellent food & accommodation conditions and teaching facilities for base training teams. The hardware facility which is rarely seen at home is one of the major reasons that the Sports Center is attracting more and more teams coming here for base trainings. Currently, teams coming here for long-term trainings include football teams from other provinces coming to Dalian for CFA Youth Men’s Super League, Liaoning Provincial Fencing Team preparing for the National Games, Chinese U-20 FUTSAL Team preparing for Asian Youth Championship, CFA coaches, 8 teams of the Sports School affiliated to Dalian Municipal Sports Bureau, Dalian Youth Green Project teams, Dalian Quanjian Women’s Football Team, Dalian Yifang Football Echelon Team, Dalian Yuan Dynasty Football Club, etc.

       Besides teams coming to the Sports Center for long-term trainings, there are also teams choosing to come here for short-term trainings, including Chinese National Women’s FUTSAL Team (trained in the Comprehensive Stadium preparing for Asian Indoor Games & Martial Arts Games to be held in Turkmenistan in September, 2017), which organized three trainings from June to September. With the opening of indoor track and field stadium, during the summer vocation of this year, the Sports Center will also accommodate more football, and track and field teams from other provinces and youth summer camp teams. Among these teams, International Youth Handball Summer Camp (Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao) is a great platform for youth handball players from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Denmark and Hungary to come to Dalian for exchanges.

       The Sports Center has been committed to provide multidirectional and excellent service guarantee for base training teams. In order to satisfy their requirements, each stadium has formulated maintenance standard and procedure, added supporting service facilities, and intensified training environment management, for the purpose of providing higher quality competition sites and environment. The patience and considerate services have been well received by athletes and coaches coming for base trainings. The Sports Center will, as always, go on providing guarantee and services for base training teams, so as to attract more teams inside and outside of Liaoning province coming here for base trainings. Moreover, it will make every effort to build it into a quality summer training base in the North.
