In order to improve youth physical quality, enrich students’ fitness activities, and promote the teenager students’ interest towards swimming and their competition level, the Launching Ceremony of Dalian Session of 2017 National ‘Future Star’ Teenagers Sunshine Sports Games and Dalian Youth Swimming Competition were held in the Natatorium of Dalian Sports Center on June 29, which were sponsored by Dalian Municipal Sports Bureau, Dalian Education Bureau, and China Communist Youth League Dalian Committee, undertook by Ganjingzi District Culture and Sports Bureau, Ganjingzi District Education Bureau, and China Communist Youth League Ganjingzi District Committee, and co-organized by Aoteng Sports Industry (Dalian) Co., Ltd., and the Natatorium of Dalian Sports Center.

       By starting from the reality and assessing comprehensively, activities like Dalian Youth Sports League and exhibitions of quality events have been carried out for Dalian Session of 2017 National ‘Future Star’ Teenagers Sunshine Sports Games since April of this year. By drawing on social force, the Organizing Committee has organized youth players to participate in sports and competitions, e.g. football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, track and filed, swimming, taekwondo, yacht racing, sailboard, rope skipping, baseball, traditional bow, kickboxing, rugby, fencing, Weiqi, Equestrianism, roller skating, etc., which are popular among teenagers.

       In the launching ceremony, students of primary schools and secondary schools in Ganjingzi District performed cheerleading, diabolo, basketball exercise, etc., which drew the curtain for Dalian Youth Swimming Competition. Since initiation of sign-up for Dalian Youth Swimming Competition, young swimmers in all districts of Dalian have actively responded to the call. As introduced by the undertakers, young swimmers in all districts were quite enthusiastic and actively signed up for the Competition. On the day of registration, more than 200 young swimmers participated in 82 swimming competitions. Before the Competition, the Natatorium of Dalian Sports Center has conducted comprehensive inspection on the hardware facilities, management and operation procedures, and other preparation work, thus ensuring the water temperature, water quality, facilities, etc., would comply with the standards. In this way, the young swimmers would feel the competition atmosphere as they entered the Natatorium.
