Badminton Hall in the Comprehensive Stadium of the Sports Center 

Will Be Open to the Public

       In the questionnaire released by the Sports Center last year, badminton accounted for 65.5% of the total and was rated as the “citizens’ favorite sport’. In the recent years, the number of public badminton competitions has multiplied. Every weekend, the badminton courts are all occupied. Judging from the aforesaid facts, badminton has become one of the citizens’ favorite sports with the most participants.

       In order to satisfy the citizens’ requirements towards physical fitness activities, the comprehensive stadium of the Sports Center initiated a professional badminton hall of 1,700 m2, which has seven badminton courts with professional badminton flooring to minimize athletic injuries.

       It is learned that besides badminton, the comprehensive stadium also has fitness items opened to the public including indoor five-a-side football, indoor basketball and table tennis. Citizens who like playing football can also experience here the professional five-a-side football field, which functions as the home filed of Dalian Puwan District Hubei University of CFA Futsal Super League. The comprehensive stadium will cooperate with professional fitness instructors to carry out trainings like yoga, Pilates, Latin dance, belly dance, etc., providing various fitness training services for citizens.

       In addition to citizens’ daily fitness activities, the comprehensive stadium can also undertake and organize public sports events, fun games and other group activities, and has the function to hold concerts, evening galas, and other artistic and cultural activities.

       In 2017, the comprehensive stadium will actively carry out citizens’ sports trainings, fitness instructions, organizations of amateur events, and other public sports activities while guaranteeing base trainings and events for each professional team, thus providing versatile sports and fitness services for citizens.
