Through 8-day fierce competition, 2016 “Zheshang Asset Management Cup” CFA Indoor Five-a-side Football Championship hosted by CFA and sponsored by Dalian Footbal Association was rounded off in the Comprehensive Tainting Stadium of Dalian Sports Center on the night of October 27. 240 players and coaches from 12 five-a-side Football teams from across China offered the audience 36 exciting football games. Eventually, Shenzhen Nanling Iron Wolves beat Dalian Puwan Bay Anbo with a score of 4:1 and won the championship. During the event, a total number of more than 2,000 audiences watched the games.

        This Championship is a great opportunity for testing players and hitting form, so as to gear up for the coming new season. Each team summarized gains and losses from each game and accumulated experience, creating conditions for the new season.

        It is known that Indoor Five-a-side Football has been rapidly developing in recent years in China, with the operation of each club becoming more professionalized. In order to comprehensively enhance the level of China’s Five-a-side Football sport, CFA decided to add the Championship, besides Football League and FA Cup. Such decision was strongly supported by football associations in 12 provinces and cities across the country, which teamed up to participate in the Championship.

        Since the Comprehensive Tainting Stadium of Dalian Sports Center was open to the public in May 2015, it has not only provided citizens with venues for physical fitness but also held the 12th Dalian City Sports Meeting (Youth Group), Chinese Fencing Association Club League, CFA Indoor Five-a-side League One, Dalian Basketball League, “Jointly Hold up the Future of Stars” public benefit activity, group activities like Fun Games of authorities directly under the Dalian Municipal Government and enterprises, and undertaken base trainings of Municipal Judo, Taekwondo, Wrestling and Weight-lifting Teams. Marked by the increased utility rate of the Comprehensive Tainting Stadium year by year, it has become a multi-functional stadium in the Sport Center integrating physical fitness, base trainings, competitions and group activities.
