-The Sports Center Carries Forward All-round Preparation

       In the early of May this year, our city applies for holding the event of 2016 International Friendly Match of Chinese Men’s National Football Team with active attitude, and then Chinese Football Association made a field visit and comprehensive appraisal, and finally approved the application for holding the game on June 7 at Dalian Sports Center. This match is sponsored by Chinese Football Association, undertaken by Dalian Sports Bureau, Dalian Xinghai Bay Development and Construction Management Center, and jointly organized by Dalian Football Association and Dalian Sports Center. This is the first time in 19 years that we have greeted the National Team in Dalian since the Top Ten Matches in 1997. Dalian, as the well-known “Football City”, has profound football culture and a galaxy of football talents. Organizing the international friendly match must serve as the new power for Dalian football to rise again.

       We have learned that in order to guarantee the success of this high-profile match, Dalian Sports Center, serving as the training field and competition site for the friendly match, will guarantee the field for the national team. Apart from the stadium which will be used as the competition site, the Sports Center also designates two sectors with qualified site condition for training, one of which is for training of the national team at night. What’s more, in order to ensure that the match will go well, the Sports Center has set up a Match Guarantee Team. Preliminary guarantee work is carried out orderly in accordance with the requirements of Chinese Football Association. During the match, except football players, officers, fans, and staff, it’s estimated that more than 300 media workers from home and abroad will be here. The Sports Center will adopt the Requirements for International A Level Match to provide service and guarantee for football teams, officers, and media workers. Now, the Sports Center is working on preparation of software and hardware facilities and equipment for competition site and functional rooms based on the match requirements, so as to ensure smooth implementation of event organization, reception, broadcasting, etc.

       In recent years, the Sports Center has been tested and forged by such events as the 12th National Games, 2015 Dalian International Women’s Tennis Open, 2014 Chinese Super League, 2015 and 2016 China League One with rich experience in service and guarantee accumulated. As the match is approaching, the Sports Center is orderly advancing with preparation, which is to ensure that the match will go well.
