Football Series Competitions

       Yesterday afternoon, 2015 first National City Football Champions League (U15) Competition started in the Municipal Sports Center, the youth teams from Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Qingdao, Chengdu and our city participated in the competition. This competition is just a beginning, and there will be domestic and international series of football competitions, evoking the enthusiasm of football.

       The first National City Football Champions League Competition will lastuntil August 7, single cycle competition system will be adopted in the competition, in addition to Dalian team, and two teams of best scores will participate in the Second Sino US Youth Football Friendly Match which will be held later in our city.

       Last year, the First Sino US Youth Football Friendly Competition was held successfully in our city. This year, the scale of the events will be further enhanced, 3 powerful teams of National City Football Champions League including team of Dalian, will compete with youth team from Escondido of the United States respectively, continuing the friendly exchanges of Sino US youth football. The kick-off ceremony of the friendly competition will be held in the morning of August 8 in Municipal Sports Center. At the same time, the Youth Football Pitch Project Summer Camp of our city will start; nearly a thousand young players will take part in the Football Summer Camp held in the Municipal Sports Center which will last a period of half a month.

       On August 8, on the “National Fitness Day”, Dalian City Football Association Cup finals will start in the Sports Center, 16 amateur soccer teams reach the final after the first stage selection of the Football Association Cup by each district, city and county.

       On August 7 and 8, Chinese Football Development Pilot Cities Soccer Association Secretary General Forum will be held in our city, Soccer Association Secretary Generals from 5 football development pilot cities, Qingdao, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Dalian, Wuhan, and other football development key cities, Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing, etc, gather together, besides, celebrities from football circles also come to Dalian, and the participants will share and discuss the football development experiences together.

       On August 14 - 18, 2015 National Women's Football Tournament Finals will be held in the Municipal Sports Center, 8 women's football team from all over the country will participate in the competition. After the first two stages of the competition, Dalian Junfeng women's football team has been targeting the top four of the tournament with the highest group score. During the final stage, Junfeng women's football team, owning the home field advantage, will start the final competition with the representative team of Beijing, Jiangsu and Shandong; Dalian women's football team will spare no effort to compete for the tournament trophy.
