Cui Jian’s “Blue Bone” Performance Tour in China for 2014 – Dalian Station
After the rock and roll of China experienced a state of bud, Cui Jian’s Have Nothing finally appeared in the Year of World Peace and the first concert presented by one hundred singing stars on May 9 and 10, 1996. For 20 years thereafter, Cui Jian has traveled to medium and large cities over China in the form of solo concert, small special concert, music festival, etc.
Cui Jian, this firm and unyielding man, is still marching forward in big strides. He is walking toward us, leading us to march forward together. He is not indulged in reminiscence. He showed: his music is by no means a party of reminiscence by a middle-aged man, but a hope that more people pioneer for future together, future music, future movie, future society and future ideology. This old rock and roll star named his national performance tour as “blue bone”, that means transformation by this opportunity: from red to blue, and calling for wisdom and the spirit of freedom. This is a transformation drawing attention-----the idol symbol in the age of green army uniform and five-pointed star was updated from that time. The red color still remains. The blood is red and the bone is blue. The era is changing. Cui Jian is walking out of the sky-sheltering red and toward an infinitely transparent blue.
On Oct. 12, 2014, Cui Jian’s “Blue Bone” Performance Tour in China – Dalian Station will be open in the Sports Gym of Dalian Sports Center (Zhongsheng Cultural Center). In addition to singing a lot of old songs, Cui Jian will also deduce more of his new works created later on.
