Star Night in Dalian, more than 50 Summer Davos Guests and 8,300 Citizens
Enjoyed in the Cultural Feast
Last night, “2017 Tianying Media Variety Concert” kicked off in Damai Center with a passionate dance. The sensational music, bright light and spectacular stage were greeted by applause and cheers from 50 Summer Davos Guests and 8,300 citizens. This concert, sponsored by the 2017 Summer Davos Forum Coordination Office and Dalian Xinghaiwan Development and Construction Management Center, would not only add colors to Summer Davos Summit but also become citizens’culture carnival.
The stadium was packed with audience and cheers. Along with the melody, the sea composed of light sticks lit up the stadium. From the moment Arina Domski, the top singer in Ukraine, started singing with her ethereal and penetrating voice, the audience’s passion was ignited. The climax came with the presence of Jeff Chang, the “King of Banjo”, producing a choir of classic songs. Chen Xiao, who roared herself hoarse because of excitement, said that, ‘I grew up with Jeff Chang’s songs. I had not expected that Jeff Chang would come to Dalian during Summer Davos Summit. It was so excited for me to meet my idol with my own eyes’. A Summer Davos guest (asking not to be named) said that Dalian is a city with strong cultural ambience. The performance and stadiums represented national high standard and the audiences were quite enthusiastic, which made him know more about Dalian from the other side.
