Sports Center to Host All-year-round Amateur Tennis Tournament
This year, Dalian Sports Center will host the 2017 "Dalian
Sports Center Cup" amateur tennis member points tournament, which will officially
open at Debon Securities Dalian Tennis Center (Dalian Sports Center - Tennis Center) at the end of April and continue
throughout the year to become the largest amateur tennis tournament in the
city. As the first member points tournament held by the Sports Center, the event not only begins the Sports Center amateur tennis tournament, but also builds a great platform for the Dalian amateur tennis
enthusiasts to play tennis and to make friends.
It is understood that
the event is not only for the Sports Center tennis members, but also will recruit Dalian amateur players and foreign amateur players working
or studying for a long-term in Dalian.
The tournament includes two stages of singles, doubles monthly matches and
singles, doubles year-end finals, and the
event points rules are subject to "China's amateur tennis ranking
(CTA-Rankings)"points system.
In addition, the Sports Center is also starting to set up its own tennis club. After the establishment of the
club, it will take full advantage of the Sports Center gymnasiums, venues and colorful activities throughout the year, actively carry
out membership recruitment, organize colorful internal activities for members, and
begin the exchanges and the league with other clubs. The establishment of
Dalian Sports Center Tennis Club will help the development of urban tennis
industry, and the accumulation of diversified urban tennis development
experience.
In addition to the amateur
tennis tournament, 2017 WTA125K Dalian International Women's Tennis Open will
also be held in this autumn. The alternately staged amateur tennis tournament
and professional tennis tournament will greatly promote the national fitness
campaign, promote tennis culture, enhance the competition level of amateur
tennis, and create a quality public sports and art life for the citizens.
