Dalian Sports Center Awarded "Demonstration Unit of Liaoning Province 

Sports Industry "

       Recently, Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau released the list of annual "Demonstration Bases and Demonstration Units of Liaoning Sports Industry 2016" , and Dalian Sports Center is on the list to become one of the seven sports industry demonstration units in the province.

       To conscientiously implement the deployment requirements of the State Council and the provincial government on the development of sports industry, and actively promote the development of sports industry, Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau initiated the work to name the "Demonstration Bases and Demonstration Units of Liaoning Sports Industry". Liaoning Province sports industry bases are divided into Liaoning Province sports industry demonstration bases, sports industry demonstration units and demonstration projects. Sports industry demonstration base refers to the complex involving a number of sectors in the sports industry with the area (municipal districts, county-level cities and counties) as the unit; sports industry demonstration unit refers to the unit with an entity (enterprises or other organization)well-known in a sector of the sports industry; sports industry demonstration project refers to a project with an activity or sports event in one sports industry as its main body.

       The list of "Demonstration Bases and Demonstration Units"  have been recommended by the urban sports administrative departments of various districts, and totally 46 units have been recommended as the candidates of Liaoning Province sports industry bases. Through strict application, review, inspection and other procedures for screening, 10 units with outstanding contributions to the development of the sports industry of Liaoning Province in 2016 have been finally selected Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau.

       Among many candidate units, Dalian Sports Center finally won the title of "Demonstration Units of Liaoning Sports Industry" for its distinctive development characteristics, strong demonstration and driving ability, significant economic and social benefits and other advantages. In recent years, Dalian Sports Center has been vigorously promoting national fitness, fostering sports mass base, stimulating sports consumption, and actively applying for and introducing key large-scale cultural and sports activities to create operating assets, achieve self-balance in venues operation, build a new pattern of opening up, practically strengthen guarantee, ensure safe and efficient operation of the venues, and actively promote the sustainable development of the sports industry in Liaoning Province.
