WBA China Professional Boxing Champions League will startat Damai Center (Dalian Sports Center - Stadium) from January 13 to 14, 2017.

       WBA，the abbreviation of World Boxing Association, is the world boxing association with the longest history in the worldwith more than 160 member states and 10 intercontinental organizations under it, WBA CHINA is the world's only single country organization of the intercontinental level. For the domestic boxing fans, WBA boxing champions, from the heavyweight“boxing big three”in the 1970s, Ali, Fraser and Foreman, the shaking heavyweight boxers Holyfield and Mike Tyson in the 1980s and 1990s, to Xiong Chaozhong,China's first professional boxing champion andthe first male boxer to win the world's gold belt, Qiu Xiaojun, the winner of WBA international gold belt, to Bai Shanpo, the winner of WBA and WBC international gold belt as well as the world's youth gold belt and other China's top professional boxers, each person's name is reverberating like thunder.

       The 24 boxers from Thailand, the Philippines, Puerto Rico and other countries as well as Dalian, Xi'an, Yunnan, Shenyang, Xinjiang and other regions will take part in this championship, which is divided into junior flyweight, super flyweight, super bantamweight, junior lightweight, lightweight, junior middleweight and several levels. The final on the 13th will be the game for the winner of the WBA ChinA super middleweight and super flyweight gold belt to defend the championship, when Andrea, the Russian boxer from the Dalian Eagle Totem Professional Boxing Club will be against the boxer from the Philippines; the final on the 14th is the game for WBA China's super flyweight gold belt winner to defend the championship,  when Ji Tao from Dalian will be against Wulantuoliaohazi from   Xinjiang, and Ji Tao won the IBF super bantamweight youth gold beltin 2008.

       Boxing in China has good development prospects. With the continuous popularization of boxing in China, more and more boxing tournaments have entered China. It is understood that the China Professional Boxing Champions League is the first professional boxing tournament landing in Dalian. Different from other boxing matches in the past, this tournament is prepared according to WBA World Championships standard in terms of event organization, players and live host etc., so itwill make the audience experience the charm of a professional boxing tournament.

       As a city with good boxing development, Dalian has a lot of boxing fans, amateur boxers and professional boxers, as seven players from Dalian will participate in this tournament including Ji Tao and Andrea who will fight for WBA China gold belt. Damai Center has also hosted the Global Boxing Championship, the Seven Nations International Invitational UFC Trials and other boxing or fighting games. The League will promote the healthy development of boxing in Dalian and will also train more professional boxing players.
