Dalian Forest Zoo
Dalian Forest Zoo is located in Baiyun Mountain, a famous seaside scenic site of Dalian (a national class famous scenic spot), in the southeast of Dalian city proper. It covers an area of 7.2 sq. km. with a planned area of 80 hectares. In May 24, 1997, it was opened formally. The place here is near mountains and sea, environmentally beautiful with an attractive scenery, like a bright green pearl inlaid in the city. It consists of such two parts as phase I captive breeding zone and phase II loose breeding zone (wild breeding park), which were completed in 1997 and 2000 respectively. The animals exhibited in phase I captive breeding zone and phase II wild breeding zone have 200 plus varieties, more than 3,000 heads, among which there are multiple varieties of animals belonging to national protection class, there are also many rare animal varieties introduced from abroad.

In summer: 7:00—17:00; in winter: 8:00—16:30.

In High season: RMB 120 yuan for full ticket
In low season: RMB 20 yuan for the captive breeding zone, RMB 100 yuan for the loose breeding zone. (The aerial cableway has stopped operation, elephant and other performances have stopped)
