2015 “New Commercial News” Cup Dalian Amateur Badminton Competition 

Will Be held at the End of This Month

       From Aug. 28 to 30, the 2015“New Commercial News” Cup Dalian Amateur Badminton Competition hosted by Dalian Badminton Association and Dalian Zhongsheng Culture Center, jointly hosted by Dalian Shibo Plaza and Dalian Zhulu Sports will be held in Dalian Zhongsheng Culture Center (Dalian Sports Center-Stadium).

      There are 32 teams of nearly 300 athletes from city's clubs, universities, enterprises and institutions to participate in the competition. The event adopts mixed team system, and the team event are divided into five sub-components, including men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's singles and women's singles five sub-components. In order to attract more people to participate in the game and create cultural center brand for sporting events, Zhongsheng Culture Center especially set up 10,000 Yuan as prize money. The competition can be regarded as Dalian's top amateur badminton tournament no matter for prize money distribution or the number of participants.  At that time, the Zhongshegn Culture Center will set off a liter badminton boom, the tournament will also become the talk of badminton enthusiasts. The first competition day is also the first day of China international Leisure Sports Culture Industry (Dalian) Expo, the athletes will enter into the Dalian World Expo Center and compete in the exhibition area for the first day, which will also be a highlight during the show.

       It is understood that this competition is the first mass sports event hosted by Dalian Culture Center, in the future, Dalian Culture Center will also organize similar events actively and provide learning and communication platform for the  badminton enthusiasts in the city.

       The training hall of Zhongshneg Culture Center has been opened to the public since 2014, and has received more than 50,000 public visitors. There are 10 badminton courts and table tennis courts in the training center. All venues of training center are equipped with top professional facilities and low price to welcome fitness enthusiasts to visit. In order to promote fitness and improve public welfare of stadiums, the Center is open to the public freely from nine o'clock to five p.m of every Wednesday. There are more and more players visit the stadium since the implementation of this measure.  

       In addition, the training hall of Culture Center can also be used to undertake business activities, sporting events, etc. The venue is equipped with 1356 seats, LED screen, audio and other ancillary facilities. It has undertaken more than 30 games since its open, including the 2014 China Table Tennis Super League, 2014--2015 National Skipping League Finals, etc.
