The National Softball Elites Receive Concentrated Training in the Sports Center

       This week, after 2015"Xinghaiwan Yacht Club Cup" National Youth Softball Tournament, softball pitchers and coaches from all over the country will receive concentrated training for a period of eight days in the Sports Center. In order to promote the improvement of softball sport technical level, and to speed up the cultivation of pitchers and coaches, the stage III of 2015 softball pitcher training camp and 2015 national softball coach training will be held by the Chinese Softball Association and Hand Curved Rod Base Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport in the Sports Center in Dalian, a total of 60 pitchers and coaches will take part in the concentrated training.

       The softball pitcher training camp held from August 20 to 27 is the stage III training activity by the Chinese Softball Association following the pitcher training campin Xishuangbanna in March and the pitcher training camp in Beijing in May, mainly for pitchers under 16 years old. The Chinese Softball Association carefully design and organize the content of the training camp, invite Akira Hoshino, the senior Japanese softball coach, Marina MoriMarina Mori, the former Japanese national team pitcher and the Hong Kong pitcher coach Liu Guoye, to provide the trainees with full range of guidance and training of baseball technique and tactics as well as special force and skill, and will test the students on the speed of shuttle flight, the pitching types and ball handling ability.

       In addition, in order to improve the overall quality and level of scientific training of baseball coaches in our country, to enrich sport training theory knowledge, and to strengthen the management ability and teaching ability, Hand Curved Rod Base Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport on August 20 to 25 will open national baseball coaches training classes, providing the baseball coaches from various provinces and cities, the people's liberation army and the basic units with a period of four-day training. Hand Curved Rod Base Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport invites Taeko Utsugi　, the coach of Japanese Softball Association to teach classes, the training content includes the theory and practice of offense, force and skill and defense.

       Chinese Softball Association and Hand Curved Rod Base Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport make the final decision that Dalian Sports Center will be used as the encampment for stage III pitcher training camp and national baseball coaches training classes after investigation to the training venue facilities, environment, and service and so on. This is also the largest softball tournament and training activities with the highest professional level following the National Youth Softball Tournament held last year in the Sports Center.
