2015 "Xinghaiwan Yacht Club Cup" National Youth Softball Tournament Held in the Sports Center on August 11

       2015 "Xinghaiwan Yacht Club Cup" National Youth Softball Tournament, sponsored by Hand Curved Rod Base Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport, Chinese Softball Association, Liaoning Province Sports Bureau and organized by Dalian Sports Bureau, Dalian Sports Center, will be held on August 11 to 21 in the Sports Center in Dalian. The event has a total of 500 young athletes from 23 teams of Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Henan, Gansu and other provinces and cities participating in the competition.

       The competition is divided into two levels, U16 and U13, namely the level under the age of 16 and the level under the age of 13; there are sports group and general school group for each level. The competition is held in the baseball field of the Sports Center, the east and west outfield of the comprehensive training venue. The competition set 2 awards for the best pitcher, 1 home run award, 2 bingle awards, 1 award for the best coach and 1 award for the best battle array. National Youth Baseball Tournament is held to enhance the domestic children's softball competitive level and promote nationwide youth softball exchanges, to improve the competitive level of softball teams nationwide, and to find reserve talents for the national softball sports. Baseball is the advantage sporting events of Liaoning, women's softball team of Dalian City is the team of three successive championships of Liaoning province. In last year's national tournament, the Dalian team won the second place.

      The National Youth Softball Tournament has gradually become a brand event of Sports Center since its introduction to Dalian in 2014. This traditional event will also lay a good foundation for healthy and rapid development of the baseball and softball in Dalian.
