In order to prepare for Tokyo Olympic Games 2020, and in accordance with the preparation plan of the General Administration of Sports of China, the CFA 21 Pick-up Team came to the Sports Center for intensified training from June 9 to June 20.

       With Sun Jihai as the chief coach, the CFA U21 Pick-up Team is composed of 40 members, ranging from elite players of the right age, coaching staff, and guarantee team. The Team used the football fields, and Crowne Plaza Hotel of the Sports Center, and the Training Center of Dalian Yifang Football Club for technical and tactical trainings, physical trainings, and vocational study. It is learned that the Team had a practice match with Beijing Renhe U21 Team during base training.

       This U21 Pick-up Team will participate in ‘I want to go to the Olympic Games · Olympic Trials of Chinese Olympic Football Team’ and it will have football matches with Shandong Luneng Taishan Football Team, Beijing Renhe and Shanghai Football Teams of the same age group at the end of June. Brilliant players of the four teams will be finally selected into the newly established Chinese Olympic Football Team. The newly formed Chinese Olympic Football Team will go all out to prepare for the Asian Zone Qualifiers of Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 to be held in March, 2019.

       Since this year, the Sports Center has accommodated more than 50,000 people from 29 teams, e.g. Dalian Yifang Football Club, Dalian Quanjian Women’s Football Club, Dalian Yuan Dynasty Football Club, teams participating in National Youth Super League, sports school teams affiliated to Dalian Sports Bureau, China Youth Care (Dalian), CFA coach training, etc. With the arrival of summer, more teams will come to the Sports Center for summer trainings. The guarantee team of the Sports Center has the commitment that the players and coaches can feel at ease to eat, live and be trained in comfortable environment. The operation team of the Sports Center is striving to build Dalian Sports Center into Summer Training Base in North East of China with thoughtful and meticulous catering, accommodation, and site services.
