As the name card of the famous sports city, the Sports Center has been involved in the base guarantee services for national teams, physical education schools, and amateur sports teams while balancing services for mass sports, sports events and performances. In recent years, with the increase in the influence of the Sports Center, it has attracted more and more professional teams both at home and abroad to come to Dalian for base trainings.

In 2017, the Sports Center has accommodated athletes and coaches of 46 national, provincial and municipal professional teams coming here for base trainings or trainings, totaling up to 120,000 and seeing an 80% increase over the previous year. Since March of last year, Dalian Amateur Sports School, and Dalian Land Sports School and sports teams like judo, taekwondo, wrestling, weight lifting, boxing, baseball, fencing and free boxing have been settled in the Sports Center.

       Since April, phase-III base trainings for CFA Women’s Futsal Team, Chinese Men’s U20 Futsal, Chinese Men’s National U-14 Olympic Team, Chinese Men’s National U20 Olympic Team, etc., will come to the Sports Center; local professional football teams like Dalian Quanjian Women’s Football Team, Dalian Puquhuda Futsal Team, Dalian Yifang Football Team, etc., have taken the Sports Center as the training and competition base; there are also football and basketball teams from Beijing, Shenzhen and Jilin coming to the Sports Center for summer base trainings; moreover, there are football teams coming to Dalian for National Youth Super League, training teams of teenager football players and coaches of China Youth Care Training Camp, and local youth sports summer camps will come to the Sports Center for base trainings.

       The Sports Center has provided quality services and guarantee for athletes and in the meantime, steadily increased its base training conditions and management levels. Phoenix Hotel-theMedia Center of the Sports Center started to provide catering and accommodation services for base training teams with high requirements in 2017.

       In August of last year, the Sports Center officially applied for the ‘National Futsal Training Base’. CFA and Dalian Football Association performed on-site investigation to the Futsal Training Base applied by the Sports Center. The Sports Center is now fully cooperating with Dalian Football Association and CFA for examination and approval.

       In recent years, the Sports Center has attached importance to standardizing, guaranteeing and improving service levels for base training teams, taking firm steps on building a vital summer training base in Northeast China.
