Nearly 2000 Events Increase Brand Influence of Sports Center

       In the year of 2017, Dalian Sports Center got excellent results in professional events, mass sports and other fields. It has successfully undertaken many events both in China and overseas including the Chinese Football Association CHINA LEAGUE, CFA Women Football Super League, CFA Fustal Super League, Sino-Iran International Men's Basketball Tournament, Four-Country Men's Basketball Elite Contest, WBA, WBO Professional Boxing Competition, WTA Dalian International Women’s Open. In this year, a total of 40 sports events, nearly 2000 sessions, were hosted and co-hosted by the Sports Center and nearly 60,000 people were participated in them. Not only the number of events got increased, but also the types of events involved were more extensive compared with before. In addition, the quality of events was greatly improved. And efforts were made to build the self-organized branding events to continuously increase the brand influence of the Sports Center.

       This year, Sports Center ushered in a number of new events, including the APCC • Outdoor Archery Invitational, the National Volleyball Elite League, the "Cross-Strait" Hong Kong-Macau International Youth Handball Camp, the Dalian International Karate Championship, the World Memory Championships China Finals, etc., which converted the citizens’ viewing fun to fitness motivation; the Sino-Iran International Men's Basketball Tournament, the Dalian Four-Country Men's Basketball Elite Contest, Dalian Tennis Open and other higher-level large-scale sports events built the Sports Center into a platform hosting the top events and activities.

       During the 4-year events operation, Dalian Sports Center constantly sums up experience, updates concepts and thoughts when organizing sports events, and promotes the development of brand events with a new mechanism of running a match. Since the year of 2015, Sports Center has held the Dalian Tennis Open for three years in succession to create the high-level events of its own brand, and through market operation to promote the social and economy benefits of the events. Sports Center realizes continuous growth of the Dalian sports industry through the introduction of a series interesting and hot events.
